Cernunnos Incense Sticks (£4)
A heavy aroma of pine needles, damp earth, wild garlic, yarrow, wild rose, and rosebay all come together in these incense sticks. A damp, late autumn walk over muggy fields and through humid forests was the core inspiration for this incense blend, and we hope it envelops you with an aura of calm. All of our ingredients are homegrown or locally foraged, with water from the nearby lake and our blend of unique oils added to finish the mix. These sticks are hand rolled the traditional Indian ‘Masala’ way.
A pack of 12 sticks costs £4, and they’re only available on our website. We ship across the UK -
Cernunnos was a god of the wild who ruled over pristine nature and uncivilized ways. Animals were his subjects, and free-growing fruits and vegetable his bounty. Classical depictions of the deity included gatherings of animals such as elk, wolves, snakes, and aurochs. Such gatherings were possible thanks to Cernunnos’ abillity to bring natural enemies into peaceful communion with one another. This ability may have cast Cernunnos as a protector and provider amongst rural tribes and hunters.
All of our powders, oils, herb blends, and incenses are handmade by us at home, using generations old family recipes, with tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way. As ever, we provide the medium but cannot guarantee the result, which comes from the marriage of the quality of our items and the intention of the witch/magician during their ritual.
